"When I can offer my services and advice to an "online, aspiring teacher" who becomes certified, I (DiamondDel) will have decreased the current nationwide teacher shortage at least by one teacher; I will have impacted nationally the education of hundreds of students; and if that teacher decides he or she wants to teach in Richland School District One, Columbia, SC, I (DiamondDel) will not only have filled a teacher vacancy in my school district, but I also will have positively impacted the education of hundreds of our students to be served by this newly hired certified teacher not just for the current school year but for the twenty-five to thirty years or more that this teacher continues to teach.

Just think of the positive impact "DiamondDel" would have on the thousands of boys and girls across this nation if I were to duplicate my services over time to help, not just one (1)"online, aspiring teacher" become certified to teach, but to help fifty (50) "online, would-be teachers" to become certified to teach!"

I have just discussed the impact of one (1) DiamondDel and one (1) successfully certified teacher. I have also talked about the impact of one (1) DiamondDel and fifty (50) successfully certified teachers. Just think of the far-reaching and positive impact DENIMS Professionals would have on student learning if we had fifty (50)"DiamondDel's recruiting and facilitating the certification of one "online would-be teacher" the first year; two certifications the second year; three certifications, the third year; four certifications the fourth year; and five certifications the fifth year.

Let's think true nationwide impact. The first year our goal would be 50 certifications, one certification per state as a result of the efforts of fifty (50) qualifying online DENIMS Professionals each holding the designation of the state teacher certification expert for his or her assigned state. Just imagine the positive impact on learning for thousands of students from the southeast to, the northeast, from the southwest to the northwest regions of our United States.

Now think for a moment of the awesome impact DENIMS Professionals would have on the learning outcomes of hundreds and hundreds of thousands of boys and girls across this nation if we could realize the goal facilitating the certification of five (5)"online aspiring teachers" during our fifth year. That would be a total of fifteen teacher certifications for each DENIMS Professional over a five year period. for a total of 750 certifcations for our entire team.

Does this sound too good to be true? Yes, it does, Can DENIMS Professionals make it true? YES, WE CAN!! With 50 profound DENIMS professionals with a vision and a sincere commitment to servant leadership, we can do what might sound like the incredibly impossible if we put our hearts, souls, and minds to it.

We can easily double the nationwide number of certifications to 1500 by doubling the number of committed and qualified DENIMS Professionals and/or by strategic setting higher goals for the number of teacher certifications.

I believe that our organization can do much to address the growing teacher shortage in our United States if we remain unified in our efforts to fulfill our common vision, mission, and purpose. This will serve to unite us in every way as we endeavor to become a professional, servant leadership organization nationally recognized by our DENIMS Professionals name, but more importantly for the SERVICE we provide: for the individual and collective INTEGRITY of our members who take pride in their role as online professionally certified educators responsible for identifying and recruiting quality, certifiable teachers in the online community and assisting, counseling and seeing them through the successful completion of the teacher certification or eligibility process for their chosen state(s).

--- DiamondDel: Reflects on Origin of Her Vision

My vision started when I felt compelled to think outside of the box and focus recruitment efforts towards the use of one of my favorite online memberships that featured a "professional" networking service to fill several hard to fill vacancies in my Richland One school district.

My purpose for being online shifted. It was NOT to look for LOVE, but to look for TEACHERS who would LOVE to TEACH; my purpose for being online was not to pursue "get RICH via multiple streams of income"offers, but to ultimately ENRICH the quality of teaching and learning for STUDENTS by matching onliners with their innate desire and calling TO TEACH! DENIMS Professionals would take on the servant leadership role of assisting, counseling, supporting, holding hands, mentoring and walking with each online aspiring teacher throughout the teacher certification process. Most importantly DENIMS Professionals servant leaders would share in the celebration of each teacher's professional success and personal fulfillment derived from serving and completing the commitment to realizing one's innate calling TO TEACH.
